Testing, testing, 1-2-3, HELLO anyone out there! Well yes it is us, Bruce and Lesley – back on the water in Turkey for the 2012 season. Our annual adventure started in Auckland with a stopover in Seoul and onto Istanbul, then Marmaris, in our beloved Turkey!
Thankfully the weather is getting warmer and did I mention the gorgeous fresh strawberries available in abundance in the market for 4 Turkish Lira a kilo (about $3) and the fact that the other day I had a haircut, full leg wax and a pedicure and it cost 90 Turkish lira, about what I would pay for a haircut in Auckland. It sure is good to be back. Hoping to get away Thursday (only about a week later than intended but we had to wait for the storms to pass anyway). And boats being boats there is always something else that needs attention! The weather forecast looks quite settled looking ahead so here is hoping.
